Christmas Shopping

Today I was searching the web for some Christmas deals. I found one web site literally loaded with products. They have ipods, Nintendo wii, cell phones, fitness products, beauty supplies, pet products, gift baskets, toys...You should see this site www.wildvalues.com
I think everyone can find something there. And prices are comparable with nextag.com , eBay, or amazon. I think I am going to by an ipod for my husband and some dolls for my nieces.

Day I Didn't Go Home.

When I was about eleven years old, I didn't go from school home. By then we lived in apartment complex within 5 minutes by car from my grandparents. I took the bus and I went to them instead. My grandfather was about to leave and when he did I was thinking what should I do. I was never bored there. I always had plenty of ideas.

In fall we used to pick up the apples, pears for horses and cows. In summer we took wagon with horse and went to cut the grass to grandparent's neighbours and friends. Than we had to wait couple of days until grass was dry and again we took wagon with horse and went to pick it up. We had to make sure that we had plenty of hay for the winter to feed the animals.

So, back to that day I went from school to my grandparents. After grandfather left I went to the stable. There were couple of big horses and one cow. I thought that it might be a good idea to take one of the horses to nearby field and let him a run little while. These were big horses used for hard work on fields. I put a leash on him and led him out. We got on field all right and I free the horse. He ran for couple of minutes but then he turn around and started to gallop towards me. He stop just soon enough but he was standing on my foot. Then he turn and ran home. I was slowly limping after him. So it was not a good idea after all!

I ended up at doctor's office and couldn't go to school for 2 weeks.

Secrets Of Life.

I was born one cold night in December. I was suppose to be born on Christmas Eve but I came into this world three weeks earlier. My parents said that I was so tiny, just about three pounds and I had to be in incubator for three weeks. Few years we lived at my grandparents house. My grandfather had lot of animals like cows, horses, sheeps, hens. It was like a farm. I cried too much. I didn't cry only when they put me to sleep in cold stable. One day my grandfather came to tell my parent that he saw mouses crawl on me while I was sleeping there. That is why I think I had some connection to animals since I were born.
